About · Accessibility
A parade for everyone.
We want everyone to be able to use this website and enjoy the parade.
The website
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA: it works with a keyboard and screen readers, text has strong contrast, every photo has a description, forms explain errors in plain words, and motion stops if your device asks for reduced motion.
We don't use an accessibility overlay. Accessibility is built into the pages themselves.
Display options
The round button at the bottom left of every page lets you make text larger, switch to high contrast, stop animations, or use a dyslexia-friendly font. Your choices are saved in your browser only. Your device's own settings (zoom, contrast, reduced motion) work too.
At the parade
Accessible viewing areas are marked on the official route map. See Plan your visit for parking and tips.
