About · Privacy
We only ask for what the parade needs.
Here's what this website collects, why, and how we look after it. Draft for the Northland Festivals board's review.
What we collect
When you register an entry, apply as a vendor, become a partner, volunteer or give, we collect what that form asks for: names, email addresses, phone numbers, your group's details, and any documents you upload, like a 501(c)(3) letter or an insurance certificate.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes straight to Stripe and never touches this website or Northland Festivals.
Documents
Uploaded documents are kept in private storage that only Northland Festivals' board and staff can see. We keep them for the season plus one year, then delete them.
Children
Lads & Lassies entries come from parents or guardians. We never publish a child's name or photo without a parent's permission.
We email you about what you signed up for: confirmations, receipts and reminders. We only send newsletters if you ask for them, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people, so we can make the site better.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only when the event needs it, for example parade staging lists with parade staff, or as the law requires.
Your choices
Email info@snakesaturday.com to see, fix or delete what we have about you.
