Charity Cook-off
Can your charity grill a steak?
For 501(c)(3) nonprofits that would rather cook than build a float. Steaks are provided; teams compete for prize money, and every nonprofit takes home at least $100.

$25 to enter
Registration is $25 and the steaks are provided.
$6,000 in prizes
In 2026 the purse was $6,000, funded by North Kansas City Hospital. First place: $1,000.
Everyone gets paid
Every nonprofit is guaranteed at least $100.
Box decorating too
In 2026, teams also competed for the best-decorated box.
